HP Latex water-based inks are designed to reduce the risks associated with solvents and UV radiation. They do not emit Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) and do not carry warning labels. Prints are odorless, recyclable and safe for disposal. The outer cardboard ink packaging is recyclable, while the inner packaging and printheads are returnable (HP Planet Partners program).

* The whitest white based on ISO/DIS 23498 compared to competitive solvent and UV printer models in the same category by May 2020. Testing was conducted on black opaque adhesive vinyl (L*:4.16 - a:0.48-b:2.34) with 160% UF printmode and using HP 836 White Latex Ink. Optical opacity = 91%.
